A Associa\u00e7\u00e3o da L\u00edngua Turca (Turk Dil Kurumu), fundada em 12 de julho de 1932 sob a diretiva de Atat\u00fcrk como Sociedade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da L\u00edngua Turca, \u00e9 uma institui\u00e7\u00e3o de longa data dedicada a revelar a riqueza e a beleza intr\u00ednseca da l\u00edngua turca. Os seus fundadores - S\u00e2mih Rif'at, Ru\u015fen E\u015fref, Cel\u00e2l S\u00e2hir e Yakup Kadri - eram figuras liter\u00e1rias proeminentes e membros do parlamento. A miss\u00e3o inicial da institui\u00e7\u00e3o centrava-se na realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica sobre o turco, na recolha de materiais lingu\u00edsticos, na publica\u00e7\u00e3o dos resultados e no refor\u00e7o da posi\u00e7\u00e3o da l\u00edngua entre as l\u00ednguas mundiais.<\/p>\n
Tr\u00eas grandes congressos realizados em 1932, 1934 e 1936 moldaram a estrutura cient\u00edfica e as pol\u00edticas lingu\u00edsticas da institui\u00e7\u00e3o. Em 1936, a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o adoptou o nome de Associa\u00e7\u00e3o da L\u00edngua Turca. Desenvolvida sob os ausp\u00edcios de Atat\u00fcrk, a institui\u00e7\u00e3o continua o seu trabalho em dom\u00ednios como a lexicografia, a gram\u00e1tica, a compila\u00e7\u00e3o, a lingu\u00edstica e a etimologia, orientando o estudo e o desenvolvimento da l\u00edngua turca.<\/p>\n
